Community rules

SevenTalk only works if everyone feels safe to speak, especially people who are nervous about their English.

If something goes wrong

• Tap the flag to report. The call ends immediately and you’ll never be matched with that person again.
• Several reports suspend an account automatically. We don’t need to watch your calls to keep the community safe.
• Partner not talking? Tap Leave and choose “My partner isn’t talking”. It doesn’t cost you a session.

Being a good partner

• Give your partner time to find their words. Silence is fine.
• Ask questions. Most people find it easier to answer than to start.
• If you’re stronger in English, help with a word, then let them keep going.
• Stay for the whole seven minutes when you can. It means a lot to the other person.
